<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: arial,sans-serif;">Hace tiempo que muchos profesores, graduados y estudiantes trabajan en propuestas para adecuar y actualizar el plan de la Licenciatura en Ciencias Físicas. Hoy en la reunión del claustro de profesores presenté una propuesta que sintetiza todos esos años de trabajo. Nuestro plan de estudios, aprobado en 1987 y modificado en 1992, ha estado vigente por más de 30 años. Entre sus aciertos, estableció las materias optativas como forma de diversificar la formación, impulsó el contenido experimental jerarquizando los laboratorios como materias independientes y mantuvo la organización de “doble pasada” que había sido establecida en el plan de 1957 y que es un estándar a nivel internacional. El plan 87/92 fue acompañado con un renovado compromiso departamental coan la calidad de la enseñanza y la inversión sostenida para equipar los laboratorios de estudiantes.</span></span></p>

<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: arial,sans-serif;">Por la gran cantidad de cambios, la transición del plan 57 al 87 fue lenta, y el nuevo plan recién se asentó a finales de los 90’. El tiempo que lleva vigente nos mostró muchas virtudes y algunas pocas falencias, y en los últimos 30 años hubo diversos intentos por corregirlas. Participé de alguno de ellos y creo que fallamos por intentar cambiar de raíz, algo que requiere solo algunas adecuaciones. El plan 87/92 funciona muy bien, brinda una formación amplia, sólida, y con posibilidad de especializarse. Nuestros egresados son reconocidos en tanto en el ámbito público como el privado, en la academia y en la industria.</span></span></p>

<p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: arial,sans-serif;">La UBA ha cambiado su normativa para títulos intermedios y de grado, y la mayoría de las carreras de la facultad se han adecuado a la nueva normativa. En este marco les propongo realizar cambios que resuelvan falencias, generando la mínima disrupción posible para nuestros estudiantes, y que podamos evaluar más rápido en el tiempo para, como el resto de la facultad, poder realizar otras actualizaciones en el futuro. Las iniciativas que surgen en la mayoría de las conversaciones con la comunidad son:</span></span></p>
