Dear all,

We are delighted to announce the Workshop for Women in Mathematics of Data
Science, taking place August 4-14, 2026, at the University of British
Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. You can find full details and the
application link here: sites.google.com/view/women-math-datascience.

This 10-day in-person research workshop will bring together a cohort of
junior and senior researchers to collaborate intensively in small groups on
cutting-edge problems in the mathematics of data science. Participants will
spend most of the workshop working directly on team research problems, with
time also devoted to brief project presentations and short talks.

The workshop is open to *participants* *at all career stages and regardless
of gender* -- although women and other underrepresented groups in
mathematics are especially encouraged to apply. We expect to provide full
accommodation support and partial travel/food funding for all participants.

Key Details:

   - Dates: August 4-14, 2026
   - Location: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada
   - Application deadline: *March 29, 2026* (to ensure full consideration)
