*Call for Participation - South American NLP School*

We are delighted to invite you to the South American NLP School that will
be held in Montevideo on November 12th, co-located with Iberamia 2024. The
school will be structured as a series of lectures/presentations on
different topics like BioNLP, NLP for underrepresented languages, Hate
speech detection, Counter-speech generation, and Analysis of gender bias in
the media.

All NLP students and researchers in the region are invited to participate,
regardless of having an accepted paper at Iberamia. Participation in the
school is free and we might be able to provide some funding for some
students. Students are also invited to present their current work as
posters.
